글리코포린 A (GYPA)와 B (GYPB)는 MN 및 Ss 혈액형의 항원 결정인자를 지니는 인간 적혈구 막의 주요 시알로글리코단백질입니다. 모든 인구 집단에서 흔히 발생하는 M 또는 N 및 S 또는 s 항원 외에도 약 40가지 관련 변이 표현형이 확인되었습니다. 이러한 변이에는 Miltenberger 복합체의 모든 변이와 Sta의 여러 이소폼, 그리고 Dantu, Sat, He, Mg, 및 결실 변이인 Ena, S-s-U-, Mk가 포함됩니다. 대부분의 변이는 GYPA와 GYPB 사이의 유전자 재조합 결과입니다.
