타겟 유전자 정보 — CIDEA
이 유전자는 세포자멸사를 활성화하는 것으로 알려진 생쥐 단백질 Cidea의 상동체를 인코딩합니다. 이러한 세포자멸사 활성화는 DNA 단편화 인자 DFF45에 의해 억제되지만 카스파아제 억제제에 의해서는 억제되지 않습니다. 기능적인 Cidea가 없는 생쥐는 추위에 노출되었을 때 더 높은 대사율, 갈색 지방 조직에서 더 높은 지방분해, 더 높은 체온을 보입니다. 이 생쥐는 또한 식이 유도 비만 및 당뇨병에 저항성을 가집니다. 이는 생쥐에서 이 유전자 산물이 열 발생 및 지방분해에 역할을 한다는 것을 시사합니다. 대체 스플라이싱된 전사체가 확인되었습니다.
