타겟 유전자 정보 — TNFSF10
이 유전자에 의해 인코딩되는 단백질은 종양 괴사 인자(TNF) 리간드 패밀리에 속하는 사이토카인입니다. 이 단백질은 형질 전환된 세포와 종양 세포에서 우선적으로 세포자멸사를 유도하지만, 대부분의 정상 조직에서 상당한 수준으로 발현됨에도 불구하고 정상 세포를 사멸시키지는 않는 것으로 보입니다. 이 단백질은 TNFRSF10A/TRAILR1, TNFRSF10B/TRAILR2, TNFRSF10C/TRAILR3, TNFRSF10D/TRAILR4를 포함한 여러 TNF 수용체 슈퍼패밀리 구성원과 결합하며, TNFRSF11B/OPG와도 결합할 수 있습니다. 이 단백질의 활성은 세포자멸사를 유도할 수 없는 디코이 수용체인 TNFRSF10C/TRAILR3, TNFRSF10D/TRAILR4, TNFRSF11B/OPG와의 결합에 의해 조절될 수 있습니다. 이 단백질이 수용체에 결합하면 MAPK8/JNK, caspase 8, caspase 3의 활성화가 유발되는 것으로 나타났습니다. 이 유전자에서는 다른 이소형을 인코딩하는 대체 스플라이싱된 전사체 변이체가 발견되었습니다.
