유전자 개요
XPO1은 세포 주기에 따라 조절되며, 류신이 풍부한 핵 수출 신호(NES) 의존성 단백질 수송을 매개하는 단백질을 암호화한다. 이 단백질은 Rev와 U 소핵 RNA(snRNA)의 핵 수출을 특이적으로 억제하고, 사이클린 B(cyclin B), MPAK, MAPKAP 키나아제(kinase) 2의 국소화를 조절함으로써 세포 과정을 제어한다. 또한 NFAT와 AP-1도 조절한다.
