유전자 개요
TNFAIP2는 제대 정맥 내피세포(umbilical vein endothelial cells)에서 종양 괴사 인자 알파(TNF)에 의해 발현이 유도될 수 있는 유전자로 확인되었다. 이 유전자의 발현은 종양형 레티노산 수용체 알파 융합 단백질(retinoic acid receptor alpha fusion protein)을 발현하는 세포주에서 레티노산(retinoic acid)에 의해 유도되는 것으로 밝혀졌으며, 이는 급성 전수세포 백혈병(acute promyelocytic leukemia)에서 해당 유전자가 레티노산 표적 유전자일 수 있음을 시사한다.
