스페르미딘 합성효소(Spermidine synthase)는 폴리아민(polyamine) 생합성 경로의 네 가지 효소(enzyme) 중 하나로, 스페르미딘(spermidine) 생합성의 마지막 단계를 담당한다. 이 효소는 탈카복실화된 S-아데노실메티오닌(S-adenosylmethionine)을 보조 인자(cofactor)로 이용하여 푸트레스틴(putrescine)을 스페르미딘으로 전환하는 반응을 촉매한다.
