유전자 개요
SNX9 유전자는 소포체 넥신(sorting nexin) 계열 단백질을 암호화한다. 이 계열 단백질들은 포스포이노시타이드 결합 도메인을 포함하며 세포 내 수송에 관여한다. SNX9 단백질은 N-말단 근처에 SRC 상동성(SRC homology) 도메인을 가지고 있으며, 세포 내 수송의 여러 단계, 즉 세포내이입(endocytosis), 거대세포음영양증(macropinocytosis), F-액틴 핵형성(F-actin nucleation)에 관여한다.
