분비된 프리즐드-관련 단백질 5(Secreted frizzled-related protein 5, SFRP5)는 SFRP 계열의 일원으로, 프리즐드 단백질의 가상적인 Wnt 결합 부위와 상동성인 시스테인 함유 도메인을 가지고 있습니다. SFRP는 Wnt 신호 전달의 가용성 조절자(soluble modulators)로 작용합니다. SFRP5와 SFRP1은 망막의 광수용체 세포 극성 결정에 관여할 수 있습니다. SFRP5는 망막 색소 상피 조직(retinal pigment epithelium)에서 높게 발현되고, 췌장에서 적당히 발현됩니다.
