유전자 개요
이 단백질은 Frizzled 단백질의 Wnt 결합 부위와 상동성을 가지는 시스테인 풍부 도메인을 포함하는 SFRP 패밀리의 구성원이다. SFRP 계열 단백질은 Wnt 신호 전달의 용해성 조절자로 작용한다. 심실 심근에서의 SFRP4 발현은 세포자멸사(apoptosis) 관련 유전자 발현과 상관관계를 보인다.
