유전자 개요
이 유전자는 세포질 분열, 평활근 수축, 액틴 스트레스 섬 및 부착반 형성과 c-fos 혈청 반응 요소 활성화를 조절하는 세린/트레오닌 키나아제(serine/threonine kinase) 단백질을 암호화한다. ROCK1의 아이소자임(isozyme)인 이 단백질은 작은 GTPase Rho의 표적이다.
