유전자 개요
이 유전자는 세린 단백질 분해 효소(serine protease) 중 트립신 계열에 속하는 보존성 단백질을 암호화한다. 쥐를 이용한 연구에서 배란 유도 후 이 유전자의 mRNA 수준이 감소하는 것이 발견되었다. 대체 스플라이싱(alternative splicing)을 통해 여러 종류의 전사체 변이체(transcript variant)가 생성된다.
