라이소포스포리파아제(lysophospholipase)는 생물학적 막에서 작용하여 다기능성 라이소포스포리피드(lysophospholipid)를 조절하는 효소이다. 이 유전자에 의해 암호화된 단백질은 이러한 활성을 지니며, 이황화 결합(disulfide bond)으로 연결된 두 개의 동일한 소단위체(subunit)로 이루어진다. 또한 이 단백질은 베타-갈락토사이드 결합 S형 렉틴(lectin) 족의 여러 구성원과 구조적 유사성을 나타낸다.
