유전자 개요

이 유전자는 인터루킨-1 수용체(IL1R)와 연관되어 인터루킨-1 수용체-연관 키나아제 1을 암호화한다. 이 단백질은 인터루킨-1 수용체와 결합하는 두 개의 세린/트레오닌 키나아제 중 하나이다. 이 유전자는 또한 인터루킨-1 유도 전사(transcription) 인자 NF-kappa B의 상향 조절에 부분적으로 관여한다. 서로 다른 아이소폼(isoform)을 암호화하는 대체 스플라이싱 전사 변이체(transcript variant)들이 발견되었다.
