유전자 개요
ICAM1은 주로 내피세포(endothelial cell)와 면역계 세포에서 발현되는 세포 표면 당단백질(glycoprotein)을 암호화한다. ICAM1 단백질은 CD11a/CD18 또는 CD11b/CD18 유형의 인테그린(integrin)에 결합하며, 라이노바이러스(Rhinovirus)가 세포 내로 침입할 때 수용체(receptor)로 이용하기도 한다.
