유전자 개요
이 유전자는 G단백질 결합 수용체(G-protein coupled receptors) 계열 1에 속하는 단백질을 암호화한다. 난포자극 호르몬(follicle stimulating hormone)의 수용체로서 생식선 발달에 관여한다. 이 유전자의 돌연변이는 제1형 난소이형성증 및 난소과자극 증후군(ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome)을 유발한다. 대체 스플라이싱으로 여러 전사체 변이체가 생성된다.
