유전자 개요
FLT4는 혈관내피성장인자(vascular endothelial growth factor) C 및 D에 대한 티로신 키나아제(tyrosine kinase) 수용체를 암호화한다. 이 수용체 단백질은 림프관신생(lymphangiogenesis)과 림프관내피의 유지에 관여하는 것으로 여겨진다. 해당 유전자의 돌연변이는 유전성 림프부종(hereditary lymphedema) IA형을 일으킨다.
