피콜린(Ficolins)은 콜라겐 유사 도메인과 피브리노겐 유사 도메인으로 구성된 단백질 그룹입니다. 이 유전자가 암호화하는 단백질은 모든 사람의 혈청에서 발견되는 열에 약한 베타-2-마크로글로불린으로, 피콜린/옵소닌 p35 렉틴(lectin) 계열에 속합니다. 대안적 스플라이싱(alternative splicing)을 통해 두 가지 변이체(variant)가 확인되었으며, 각각 별개의 아이소폼(isoform)을 암호화합니다.
