피불린 1(Fibulin 1)은 분비되어 섬유상 세포외기질(fibrillar extracellular matrix)에 통합되는 당단백질(glycoprotein)이다. 이 단백질은 라미닌(laminin)과 니도겐(nidogen)에 결합하는 데 칼슘(calcium) 결합이 필요하며, 피브리노겐(fibrinogen)과 결합하여 혈소판(platelet) 점착을 매개한다. 말단 부분이 다른 4가지 스플라이스 변이체(splice variants)가 확인되었고, 각 변이체는 서로 다른 아이소폼(isoform)을 지정하지만 기능적 차이는 밝혀지지 않았다.
