유전자 개요
이 유전자가 암호화하는 단백질은 세 개의 연속된 C2H2형 아연 징크핑거(zinc finger)을 가진 전사인자(transcription factor)이다. 이 유전자의 결함은 샤르코-마리-투스병 1D형(CMT1D), 샤르코-마리-투스병 4E형(CMT4E) 및 데제린-소타스 증후군(DSS)과 관련이 있다. 두 개의 다른 아이소폼(isoform)을 암호화하는 여러 전사 변이체(transcript variant)가 이 유전자에서 발견되었다.
