유전자 개요
CTNND1 유전자는 세포 간 부착 및 신호 전달에 관여하는 Armadillo 단백질 계열 구성원을 암호화한다. 여러 번역 개시 코돈과 대체 스플라이싱(alternative splicing)으로 인해 다양한 종류의 아이소폼(isoform)이 번역된다. 기술된 전사체 변이체(transcript variant)의 모든 전체 길이는 결정되지 않았다. 이 유전자와 인접한 상류의 티오레독신 관련 막 단백질 2(thioredoxin-related transmembrane protein 2, TMX2) 유전자 사이에서 연장 전사(read-through transcription)도 존재한다.
