유전자 개요
이 유전자에 의해 암호화된 단백질은 세포막 단백질로, 세포 외부의 뉴클레오타이드(nucleotide)를 막 투과성 뉴클레오사이드(nucleoside)로 전환하는 반응을 촉매한다. 이 단백질은 림프구(lymphocyte) 분화의 결정 인자로 사용된다. 이 유전자의 결함은 관절과 동맥의 석회화로 이어질 수 있다. 이 유전자에 대해 서로 다른 아이소폼(isoform)을 암호화하는 두 개의 전사 변이체(transcript variant)가 발견되었다. [RefSeq 제공, 2011년 3월]
