유전자 개요
오토파지(autophagy)는 세포질 구성 요소와 세포소기관을 포함한 내용물이 이중막 구조체인 오토파고좀(autophagosome)에 둘러싸여 분해를 위해 리소좀이나 액포로 전달되는 대량 단백질 분해 과정이다. ATG12 유전자는 오토파지에 관여하는 효모 단백질의 인간 상동체(homolog)이다.
