APLP2는 주요 조직 적합 복합체(major histocompatibility complex, MHC) I 등급 분자와 상호작용하며, 신경근 전달, 공간 학습 및 시냅스 가소성 조절에 APP와의 시너지가 요구됩니다. 이 단백질은 알츠하이머병의 병리학적 과정과 관련이 있습니다.
